Jason Van Valkenburg

Jason Van Valkenburg is the President and founder of Legacy Companies. Out of his desire to help people navigate the complexities of modern finance, Jason has crafted a distinguished approach to building, maintaining, and protecting wealth and well-being for individuals, all in one place. His tailored solutions align precisely with clients’ needs and aspirations, fostering relationships that feel like family.

Born and raised in Oklahoma, Jason played baseball at Phillips University and Northeastern State before transitioning from educator to Fortune 500 market executive. Almost twenty years ago, he co-founded his first Legacy agency, Legacy Insurance Advisors, alongside Russ Scott. The same loyalty and dedication he brings to the working world are also evident in his love for his family: his wife Becca and their three kids—Emerson, Jax, and Hayden. You can find the Van Valkenburg family together at the baseball field, lacrosse field, or basketball court.
